As the temperature drops and fall produce is now in full swing, there is no better way to celebrate Autumn like an apple crisp. This crisp, unlike others you may have tried or baked, is full of plant-based nutrients like fibre, plenty of antioxidants, no added sugar, and is completely plant based.

Autumn Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

3 - 4 Apples / Thinly Sliced ( Granny Smith work best )

1 . 5 cup Rolled Oats 

2 / 3 cup Walnuts

1 cup Pitted Dates 

Dash of Cinnamon & Maldon Salt 

Instructions: 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 

In a food processor, add walnuts, oats, pitted dates, salt and cinnamon. Pulse until ingredients are combined with a mixture of chunky and fine portions. 

Once the apples a thinly sliced, place the slices into a glass dish and top with the processed ingredients.

Bake for about 30 - 45 minutes until golden brown and the apples are tender.
